Complaints & dispute resolution
If you are dissatisfied or have concerns about any part of the counseling process, the following steps apply:
Step 1. Discuss together
Step 2. Independent complaints officer (ABvC & SCAG)
As a counselor registered with the ABvC, I am connected to the independent complaints officer provided through SCAG (Stichting Complementaire en Alternatieve Gezondheidszorg). You can contact this complaints officer if we cannot resolve the issue together or if discussing the matter does not feel possible.
More information can be found in the SCAG information sheet here.
Step 3: Dispute resolution (GCG)
If mediation through SCAG does not lead to a satisfactory outcome, you may submit your case to the Geschillencommissie Complementaire Gezondheidszorg (GCG). Their decision is binding.
