When life looks fine on the outside, but inside you feel stuck or  overwhelmed

You may be used to managing things on your own.
You keep going, taking care of responsibilities and others, but something inside feels tense, heavy, or disconnected.

Counselling offers a space to slow down, understand what is happening inside you, and find new ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.

Counselling in English, Dutch and Italian – in Maastricht and online.

You might recognise yourself here

People often come to counselling because:

  • You overthink everything and struggle to switch off your mind
  • You feel emotionally drained, even when nothing seems obviously wrong
  • You are very hard on yourself and rarely feel “good enough”
  • You notice the same relationship patterns repeating again and again
  • You feel disconnected from what you really want in life
  • You find it difficult to set boundaries or say what you truly feel

These experiences can be confusing or exhausting.
Talking about them in a safe and supportive space can help you understand where they come from and how they can change.

Counselling is a structured form of professional psychosocial support for the short to medium term.

What counselling can help with

Counselling may help if you are experiencing:

  • Overthinking and emotional overwhelm
  • Difficulties in relationships
  • Life transitions or feeling lost in life
  • Self-criticism and low self-confidence
  • Stress or emotional exhaustion
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself
  • The goal of counselling is not only to reduce distress, but also to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns that shape your life.

People also come to counselling because:

They face a transition—such as a move, career change, or loss—and are looking for support in navigating it; want to understand themselves better and develop healthier patterns in your life and relationships;

feel disconnected from what's truly important to them and want to reconnect with meaning and direction.

About me

I’m Camilla, a Registercounsellor ABvC® with a Master’s degree in Social and Work Psychology and a professional background in coaching, training, and leadership.

My work is influenced by the person-centred approach developed by Carl Rogers, which is based on three core attitudes:

  • empathy
  • authenticity
  • unconditional acceptance

In counselling, I aim to create a space where you can explore your experiences openly, without judgement, and gradually reconnect with your own inner resources.

Sessions are possible in Dutch, English and Italian, and both in person (Maastricht) and online.
