My Approach to Counselling
Counselling is a structured, short- to medium-term form of professional psychosocial support. It offers a focused space to clarify what’s happening, gain insight, and take concrete steps toward change.
I provide counselling that is:
- Evidence-informed and grounded in psychological theory
- Client-centered, respecting your autonomy and inner resources
- Growth-oriented, tailored to what you bring to the table
You can come to me when you:
- Feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck and want to regain balance and clarity
- Struggle with self-confidence, boundaries, or self-criticism
- Experience relationship or family tensions and want to communicate or connect differently
- Are facing a transition — such as relocation, career change, or loss — and need support navigating it
- Want to understand yourself better and develop healthier patterns in life and relationships
- Feel disconnected from what truly matters to you and want to reconnect with meaning and direction
I’m Camilla, a Registercounsellor ABvC® with a Master’s degree in Social and Work Psychology and a professional background in coaching, training, and leadership.
What I bring to counselling is both academic and deeply human:
- A strong foundation in psychology and personal development
- Years of experience supporting and guiding people through change
- A deep respect for each client’s unique inner world
In every session, I draw on core values of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional acceptance, inspired by the work of Carl Rogers.
Sessions are possible in Dutch, English and Italian, and both in person (Maastricht) and online.
